Standard and Low Profile Door Jamb Armor

Builders and homeowners looking to proactively protect their homes often opt for the Standard Door Jamb Armor line. Many newer doors come with 5-1/2" lock spacing and we designed our Low Profile models for those who don't want to sacrifice the look of their home to get additional security.

Standard Door Jamb Armor, like all of our other lines, can also be used to repair shattered jambs and still leave you with a great, finished, look. Low Profile Door Shields will soon be available in 2-3/4" backset!

Standard Combo Set - 2-3/8" backset

Standard Combo Set is often used to repair or reinforce newer doors with standard (5-1/2") lock spacing. Includes Standard Door Jamb Armor set and Standard Door Shield Set, each made to fit doors with locks that are 5-1/2 inches (14cm) apart and backset 2-3/8" from the edge of the door.

Replacement Standard Jamb Shield

Standard Jamb Shield has holes spaced 5.5" inches apart. Can be used to repair a damaged jamb or to reinforce an existing or new jamb. We strongly recommend purchasing a Door Jamb Armor set if you are trying to prevent kick-ins. Door Jamb Armor sets include Hinge Shields, which are are extremely important in helping to prevent kick-ins.

Can be used to fix a shattered, doorjamb or reinforce an existing or new door.

This piece can be installed on an existing door, by most do-it-yourselfers, in under an half-an-hour - you do not need to remove the door. We can also arrange installation in many areas.

Protects the lock side of your doorjamb, giving a basic entry door, with a wooden jamb, similar structural characteristics to a door with a steel jamb - at a fraction of the cost.

Although this piece is not visible with the door closed, it comes with a durable white powder coating that you can paint to match your application.

Fits both left and right hand doors.
